3- THE COLOR
There is a whole palette of colours of diamond: white, blue,
pink, green, pale yellow, and even black as evidenced by
the Korloff Noir. Coloured diamonds are exceptionally rare
and very high in value. The colours of diamonds are also
graded on an international scale.
4- THE CUT
The quality of the polish and the proportions of the diamond
are of the utmost importance as they influence glow,
sparkle and brilliance. The round or brilliant cut is the most
widespread. However, other shapes such as the marquise
cut, the pear cut, the oval cut, the emerald cut, the heart
cut, and henceforth the 73/88-facets Korloff Cut, are also
highly valued and sought-after.
